Collars are made with grosgrain ribbon which can snag or fray if scratched at. A vinyl protective cover can be sewn on if requested. No refunds or exchanges  for fraying. 

A regular buckle collar comes with a heavy welded d-ring and a plastic side release buckle ( a metal buckle can be added for an additional fee ) All Martingale collars are made with heavy metal hardware . All collars are made with heavy polypropylene webbing with a decorative grosgrain ribbon sewn on. The grosgrain ribbon can/will fray if scratched at or with heavy playing. A clear vinyl covering may be added upon request. This is sewn directly on to the collar and can not be removed. It not only helps with fraying but makes it easy to wipe clean.
